fizzing bubbles

Fizzing Bubbles

Always looking for new activities with the kids, few days ago we made fizzing bath bombs. Not only they are very fun and easy to make, but they also work perfectly ✨🌈.
Coconut oil and cornstarch help soften & moisturize the skin while the calming lavender essential oil helps settle down before bed. Perfect combo. 😉

  • 1 cup of baking soda

  • 1/2 cup citric acid (also called lemon salt)

  • 1/2 cup cornstarch

  • 1/2 cup sea salt or Epsom salt

  • 3 tes coconut oil

  • 5 drops lavender essential oil

  • Food coloring (optional)

Directions

  • Prepare all your ingredients.
  • Place the dry ingredients in a bowl and mix. Tip: Make sure to use dry ustensils.
  • In a separate container, mix the liquid ingredients together: essential oil, coconut oil and coloring.
  • Slowly add the liquid mixture to the dry one.
  • Now that all ingredients are mixed, mash the mixture tightly into the molds
  • Cover and let them dry over the night.
  • Enjoy the burst of colors and the released aromas ✨🌈🌿

Notes

  • When you manage the dry ingredients, make sure that your utensils are dry. Indeed, it is the combined mixture of baking soda + citric acid + liquid that will create the fizzing bubbles!
